Yep, 100%. Every tool, every feature, every time. There's no premium upgrade lurking behind a button, no credit card prompt, nothing. We literally don't have a checkout page. You couldn't pay us if you tried.

Nope. No signup form, no email confirmation, no passwords to remember. We didn't even build an account system. You just show up and use whatever you need.

Short answer: yes. Most tools run right in your browser, so your data physically cannot reach us, it never leaves your device. For the handful of tools that need server processing (like shrinking an image or merging PDFs), your file gets uploaded, processed, and deleted within seconds. We don't store it, peek at it, or do anything weird with it.

A lot. 286+ at last count, spread across 14 categories. Developer stuff like JSON formatters and regex testers. Text manipulation, color pickers, image editors, PDF tools, video and audio converters, security utilities, SEO checkers, network diagnostics, AI content generators, math calculators, data converters, basically if you've ever Googled 'free online [thing] tool', we probably have it.

Absolutely. Everything is responsive, so it works on your phone, tablet, laptop, whatever. A few tools with big interactive canvases are more comfortable on a wider screen, but they still work fine on mobile.

Some tasks, video compression, image format conversion, PDF merging, are too heavy for a browser to handle alone. For those, here's the deal: you upload your file, our server does the heavy lifting, sends back the finished version, and immediately trashes the original. The whole round trip usually takes a few seconds. Your file only exists on our server for that brief window.

Honestly? Because we hated them on every other tool site we used. Pop-ups covering half the screen, auto-playing video ads, cookie consent walls taller than the actual tool, that's exactly why we started this project. Putting ads on Toolsvu would defeat the whole point.

A small group of developers who kept bookmarking dozens of separate tool websites and getting annoyed by all of them. We wanted one clean spot that had everything, loaded fast, and didn't nag us. So we sat down and made it ourselves.
