Here are the ground rules for using Toolsvu. We kept them short and wrote them like normal humans, because nobody has ever enjoyed decoding a 40-page legal document just to use a free tool. If anything below confuses you, drop us a line and we'll explain.

What You're Looking At

Toolsvu is a free collection of 286+ browser-based tools, formatters, converters, generators, editors, calculators, and a bunch more. You use them at toolsvu.com. No app to download, no account to create, no subscription to manage, no credit card to enter.

Go Ahead and Use It

Use Toolsvu for work, side projects, school assignments, personal stuff, whatever you need, as long as it's legal. Most tools have no usage cap at all. Server-side tools (the ones that process files on our end) do have fair-use rate limits so one person can't bog things down for everyone else.

You're in charge of what you put into the tools and what you do with the output. We hand you the wrench, how you use it is your call.

A Few Things We'd Rather You Didn't Do

We're pretty relaxed, but a couple of ground rules keep the site running smoothly for everyone:

• Please don't scrape us with bots. Hammering our servers with automated requests slows things down for real people trying to get work done. If you want programmatic access, reach out, an API might happen down the road.
• Don't do illegal stuff with our tools. Seems obvious, but we have to say it. Don't process stolen data, generate malicious content, or break laws.
• Don't poke holes in the site for fun. If you stumble onto a security vulnerability, we'd genuinely appreciate a heads-up at [email protected] instead of an exploit.
• Go easy on the server-heavy tools. Uploading 500 files in a loop will trip our rate limiter. If you legitimately have a bulk need, talk to us first and we'll figure something out.

Your Stuff Stays Yours

Everything you create, convert, or run through Toolsvu belongs to you. We claim zero rights over your files, your text, your code, your images, none of it.

With client-side tools (which is the majority), your data doesn't even touch our servers. With server-side tools, your files get processed and immediately deleted. We never look at them, save them, or do anything with them besides the thing you asked for.

We Can't Promise Perfection

We put real effort into making every tool reliable, but Toolsvu comes "as is." Being honest, we can't guarantee:

• 100% uptime around the clock
• Flawless output in every single edge case
• A completely bug-free experience forever

If you're working on something critical, sanity-check the output before using it in production. And always keep backups of important files before feeding them into any online tool, ours included.

We're not on the hook for data loss, wonky conversions, or other hiccups that might happen while using the site. We do our best, but things can go sideways sometimes.

Tools May Come and Go

We add new tools regularly and improve existing ones. Occasionally we might retire or rework something. We'll try to flag big changes ahead of time, but we reserve the right to update, modify, or pull any tool whenever we need to.

These Terms Might Evolve

If we update this page, we'll change the date up top. For anything major, we'll put a notice on the site so you're not blindsided. If you keep using Toolsvu after a change, that counts as an okay from your side.

Our Brand Is Ours

The Toolsvu name, logo, and overall site design belong to us. Please don't clone the site or slap your brand on our tools and pass them off as your own. Linking to any page or tool on Toolsvu? Go for it, we appreciate the shout-out.
