PDF Page Deleter

Remove specific pages from a PDF document online without installing software

Got Pages You Need to Get Rid Of?

Your scanner spit out a 20-page PDF. Pages 5 and 12 are blank, the feeder pulled two sheets at once. Page 19 is a scan of the scanner lid because someone left it open. You don’t want to re-scan the whole stack for three bad pages.

Type in “5, 12, 19” and hit delete. You get back a clean 17-page PDF with the pages renumbered automatically. The originals on your device aren’t touched.

What Happens Under the Hood

The tool creates a brand new PDF that includes every page except the ones you specified. All content on the remaining pages, text, images, links, formatting, stays exactly the same. The pages get renumbered sequentially starting from 1, so there’s no gap in the pagination.

It’s non-destructive. Your original file remains as-is. You’re downloading a new copy, not modifying the source.

How To

  1. Upload the PDF.
  2. Enter page numbers to remove, comma-separated: “2, 4, 7”.
  3. Click Delete Pages.
  4. Download the cleaned-up version.

Takes a few seconds regardless of document size.

Where This Comes in Handy

Blank page cleanup. This is easily the most common reason people use this tool. Scanned documents are full of accidental blanks. Merged PDFs sometimes insert blank separator pages. Exported files from Word occasionally add a trailing blank page. Delete them all in one go.

Stripping cover pages. You downloaded a whitepaper or industry report. The first two pages are promotional fluff and the last three are boilerplate legal text. Delete 1-2 and 48-50, keep the meat.

Scanner mishaps. Accidental scans of the scanner cover, misfed pages, duplicate pages from a jam, they all end up in the PDF. Instead of rescanning, just delete the bad pages and move on.

Removing sensitive pages before sharing. A report has salary data on page 8 that shouldn’t go to the full team. Delete page 8, share the rest. Faster and more reliable than trying to redact.

Slimming down file size. Got three pages of high-res photos in a document that’s otherwise text? If you don’t need those images for the person you’re sending it to, deleting those pages can cut the file size dramatically.

Need the opposite operation, pulling out specific pages to keep? That’s the PDF Splitter. Want to rearrange what’s left after deleting? Use the PDF Page Reorder.

FAQ

Can I delete a bunch of pages at once? Yes. Enter all the page numbers separated by commas, “2, 4, 7, 15” removes all four in one operation.

Does this modify my original file? Never. A new PDF is generated. Your source file stays untouched on your device.

What happens to the page numbering? The remaining pages get renumbered 1, 2, 3, etc. Delete pages 3 and 5 from a 10-page document and you’ll get an 8-page file numbered 1 through 8.

Can I undo it? Since your original isn’t modified, just upload it again if you need those pages back.

Does it work with scanned PDFs? Yes, scanned, text-based, or mixed. The tool removes the entire page container regardless of what’s on it.
